Agreement and documents
These Mentor Terms apply between Prop League Limited and a trader who applies for or receives approved Mentor status on Prop League (a “Mentor”). They supplement the Terms & Conditions, Privacy Notice and Risk Disclaimer.
Submitting an application does not guarantee approval. Mentor features become available only after approval and, where required, an active Mentor plan.
Approval and continuing eligibility
A Mentor must maintain an accurate Verified Trader Profile, demonstrate relevant experience, provide truthful application information and meet any published eligibility criteria. Prop League may verify identity, experience, public claims and account standing before or after approval.
Approval is personal and cannot be transferred. A Mentor must promptly disclose a material change that could affect suitability, including a serious platform restriction, misleading public claim or loss of authority to use supplied content.
Independent status
Mentors are independent providers, not employees, partners, agents, representatives or financial advisers of Prop League. Approval, listing or a verified badge does not mean Prop League endorses every statement, method, service or result.
The Mentor is responsible for their business, taxes, licences, disclosures, communications and compliance with the laws that apply to their educational activity and location.
Mentor profile and public claims
Profile information, qualifications, audience links, pricing and service descriptions must be current, specific and not misleading. A Mentor must not fabricate trading performance, testimonials, students, affiliations or outcomes, or imply that approval guarantees expertise or future results.
Prop League may request supporting evidence, correct an objective error, remove an unsupported claim or temporarily hide a profile while a material concern is reviewed.
Educational content
Mentor material must be educational and clearly distinguish facts, opinion, personal experience and hypothetical examples. It must not be presented as personalised financial, investment or trading advice, a guaranteed strategy, a signal service operated by Prop League or a promise of funding, profit or ranking improvement.
A Pro subscription may include access to private Mentor content where stated in the plan. Access is personal, revocable and for private learning. Users may not reproduce, record, share, sell or republish private content without permission.
Professional conduct
Mentors must communicate professionally, respect boundaries and privacy, avoid harassment and discrimination, and never request a trader's password, API secret, broker credential, remote-device control or unauthorised account access. A Mentor must not ask a trader to manipulate performance, hide a result or revoke a verification connection.
Marketing must be fair and identifiable. Testimonials and outcome claims require a reasonable evidential basis and any material connection, commission or sponsorship must be clearly disclosed.
Plans and payments
The Mentor plan is billed at the price and interval shown at checkout and renews automatically until cancelled. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid period unless a mandatory consumer right requires otherwise. The general payment, cooling-off and refund provisions in the Terms & Conditions apply.
Mentor-plan fees pay for Platform features and listing access. They do not make Prop League a party to a separate educational service arranged between a Mentor and trader.
Services arranged with traders
Unless Prop League expressly introduces an in-platform booking or payment feature under updated terms, any private mentoring service, fee, refund, scheduling arrangement or dispute is directly between the Mentor and trader. The Mentor must provide their own clear terms before payment and comply with applicable consumer law.
Prop League does not guarantee availability, compatibility, teaching quality, communication or outcomes. We may assist with a safety report but are not the contracting provider.
Intellectual property and licence
The Mentor retains ownership of original content they create. The Mentor grants Prop League a non-exclusive, worldwide licence for the period it is supplied to host, format, display and promote the Mentor profile and authorised content through Platform features. Use in a paid advertisement or testimonial requires separate permission.
The Mentor confirms they own or have permission to use all supplied text, images, video, music, charts and other material. They must not upload confidential, infringing or unlawfully obtained content.
Privacy and learner information
A Mentor may use personal information received through Prop League only to provide the requested educational service or respond to a legitimate enquiry. They must protect it, limit access, avoid unrelated marketing without a lawful basis and delete it when no longer required.
Private learner communications, account information and trading details must not be published as content or a testimonial without the person's specific permission.
Restriction or removal
Prop League may investigate a complaint, request information, temporarily restrict Mentor features, remove content or revoke approval for a material or repeated breach, a safety concern, misleading claims, unlawful conduct or conduct that creates a serious risk to users or Platform integrity.
Where appropriate, we will explain the concern and allow a response before a final decision. Immediate restriction may be necessary to protect users, evidence or security. The appeal procedure in the Terms & Conditions applies.
Liability, disputes and law
Nothing excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded. Prop League is not responsible for a Mentor's independent statements, services, advice, fees or outcomes. The liability provisions in the Terms & Conditions apply to the Platform and Mentor features.
These Mentor Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. A consumer retains any mandatory rights and local forum protections that cannot lawfully be displaced.
